Presented by luxury watch and jewellery retailer Kennedy, Maha Unrestricted is a guest chef series like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
Kicking off last May with award-winning chef Lachlan Colwill of Hently Farm, this July internationally renowned chef Paul Carmichael will be taking over the Maha kitchen to give you a taste of what he’s all about.
Originally from the island of Barbados, Paul has worked at some of the world’s top fine diners, including Asiate, Aquavit and WD~50. In 2010, Paul joined the Momofuku Má Pêche team in New York City. After running the kitchen there for several years, in 2015, Paul was asked by founder David Chang to move to Sydney to become the Executive Chef at Momofuku Seiōbo.
Paul has received many amazing awards during his career. Most recently his food at Momofuku Seiōbo earned him Best Restaurant of the Year in the prestigious Australian Gourmet Traveller 2017 and a Two Hat award in the 2018 Good Food Guide.
With no set dining times or restricted beverage lists, Maha Unrestricted will see Paul bring the full Momofuku Seiōbo experience to Melbourne. Using the finest Australian ingredients, Paul will showcase his Caribbean inspired fare through an incredible 8 course dinner menu.
This Maha Unrestricted event also features one of Kennedy’s premium Swiss-made watch brands, IWC Schaffhausen. As creators of ‘Moments in Time’, Kennedy has also asked Paul to create a special dish that reflects an important moment in time, with the dish to be revealed on the night.
Taking place at Maha on Monday, 30 July 2018 and Tuesday, 31 July 2018, tables are available between 6pm and 9:15pm. Tickets are priced at $195 per person and can be purchased by calling our team on (03) 9629 5900 or by clicking the link below.
